1. Parent and Affiliated Hospital
The School of Nursing is affiliated to the Evangelical Mission hospital, Tilda which is a 100-bedded secondary care hospital providing healthcare services in various specialities. It serves as the parent hospital to provide clinical exposure to our nursing trainees.
2. Teaching Faculty
The school has qualified and experienced training faculties which includes both graduate and post-graduate staff.
3. Conference Hall
The conference hall equipped with air-conditioning and projector is used for presentations, conferences, examinations, and recreation purposes.
4. Hostel
The School has separate hostel facilities for men and women, with 24-hour water and electricity supply, with security. Each room is furnished with beds, tables, chairs, and racks, accomodating 2-3 students. The warden resides within the hostel thereby ensuring 24-hour supervision of the inmates.
5. Lecture rooms
The school has well-equipped classrooms with modern teaching and AV aids such as LCD models and charts.
6. Library
We also have a well-furnished library with a large collection of textbooks, reference books and nursing journals. We also make efforts to keep our library updated with the latest versions of all books every year.
7. Laboratories
The school has an Anatomy lab, a Nutrition Lab, a demonstration room, an MCH lab, a Paediatric lab, a Community lab, and a Skill-development lab. We also have a well-equipped computer lab for the students to avail internet facilities and refer to online journals.
8. Transport Facility
The school has a 32-seater bus which provides transport for taking the students to clinical areas, community health programmes, field-trips and also recreational trips.
9. Sports and Events
The school has indoor and outdoor facilities for sports and physical activities. Every year the hospital and the nursing school organise several cultural, extra-curricular and co-curricular events for all the students to partake in.
